Sometimes a student may notice that they have lost some wisdom coins without having spent them in the Owl Shop. There are a few reasons this can happen.
1. Excluded Activity from Goals. On the Data page, a teacher may have marked a student's quiz, practice question, or review to be excluded from Goals.
2. Deleted Activity. If either the teacher or the student deletes past student work, the earned coins associated with that work are also deleted. Learn how to delete activities and books from the Class Shelf.
3. Changed ZPD Settings. The teacher changed the ZPD settings from Don't Exclude & Don't show ZPD Icons to Exclude & Show ZPD Icons, which excludes both previous student work and future student work from Goals. Learn how to use your Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) Settings.
Not to worry! It's easy for teachers to replace lost coins. To do this, go to the Roster page, select the student(s) you'd like to award coins to, and click on Award Coins from the bottom of the screen.
Check the Custom Amount option if you need to award a lot of coins at once!
