You can create custom Whooo's Reading goals for your students, and their progress toward those goals will be tracked on their Student dashboards as well as on Teacher and Admin dashboards.
To create your custom goals for students, go to your Roster page. There, expand the class for which you'd like to customize goals, then click Edit Class:
There, you can customize the makeup of quizzes, your goal for quizzes, and your goal for supplemental tasks (non-quiz tasks), as well as the timeframe for your goals:
Choose the number of quizzes you would like students to take, adjust the number of fill-in-the-blank and open-ended questions, and turn on or off sentence starters.
In the lower left, select up to three supplemental tasks you would like your students to do and adjust the number of each.
On the right, select the time frame for your goals.
For example, in the image above, students are expected to pass 2 quizzes, answer 6 practice questions, do 2 Question Builders, and submit 3 book reviews per month.
Once you are done entering your goals, click Save.
Your students will see their progress toward these goals on their student dashboards.
Please note, for any classes shared by more than one teacher or administrator – Changing goals will override any that were set before your edits. Settings and goals will reflect the most recent change made by a teacher or admin with access to that class.
On Teacher and Admin dashboards, on your Data page, under the Goals tab, will display your students' progress towards the goals you have selected:
You can also set different goals on an individual-student basis (see Differentiation).
