Sometimes, a student will log in only to see a notice that their account has been frozen:
There are several reasons this could be happening, all of which are related to the associated teacher account.
The most common reason for frozen accounts is that there are too many classes or students on the Roster of your teacher account. Teacher accounts have a default limit of 6 classes with 35 students in each class. Overages on class or student caps will appear as a notice on your Teacher Dashboard.
Duplicate classes can occur if a teacher leaves all classroom boxes checked while syncing with Clever.
To delete extra classes, go to your Roster, locate and click on the class you would like to archive, and click the Archive Class link under the class header.
Note: An empty class with no students in it can also cause your account to go over its limits.
Another less common reason a student's account may be frozen is if their account has a different teacher as their primary teacher. To change the primary admin, the previous teacher must delete the student from their teacher roster (here's how).
If you are not sure who previously used Whooo's Reading with your student, please contact Support and we will help you find the primary teacher on the student account(s).
