There are several setting options for the reading log feature that allow you to customize the logging reading experience for students, and the amount of information students track with their logs.
To get to the reading log settings, click the drop-down arrow in the top right of your teacher account, then click Settings. On that window, click Log Reading on the left:
The first setting lets you turn on or off a window that pops up automatically for students after they complete a piece of writing on Whooo's Reading, prompting them to log their reading associated with that writing assignment.
The second setting lets you turn on or off a more detailed reading log, requiring students to input additional information beyond just minutes and/or pages, including reading times and location.

The third setting lets you turn on or off the ability for students to log their reading for past days, up to seven days in the past.
With this setting turned on, students can back-log reading as far back as a week. This is great for situations when students may not log into Whooo's Reading every day.
With this setting turned off, students can log reading for only the current day. This is great for holding students accountable for logging reading every day.
