Whooo's Reading offers several different rostering methods that teachers can use to add student accounts. It is always best to stick to a single method across all accounts within a school. This ensures that students do not end up with duplicate accounts and all know how to correctly log into their account. If using SSO (Google/Clever), using a single method also ensures that students shared among more than one teacher have one account that is pulled into all of their classes.
School or district administrators on Whooo's Reading can set a rostering method for all teachers to use via their admin account settings.
To set a rostering method:
Click on the drop-down in the top right of your admin account and select Settings.
On the Settings page, click Rostering Method on the left:
Choose the rostering method that is best for your school, and click Save changes.
Teachers will then be limited to that rostering method to prevent rostering issues.
For more information on rostering methods, see adding students.
Note: Rostering should typically be managed by individual teachers. Admins cannot add classes on Whooo's Reading. If none of the individual teacher methods work for your school, please reach out to us.
After you set a rostering method, here is how to invite teachers to your school on Whooo's Reading.
